So I'm running for State Rep. the first question people ask is "What party are you running under?"
It would be my preference that the discussion not begin there for the simple fact that all too often it ends there. I've never been a party guy (not since I cast my first vote in 1992). The party is merely a conduit; a means to an end. The party is not indicative of an individual or a candidate's position on any given issue.
You want to know where I stand on the issues then ask as I have no-one else speaking on my behalf.

Tell them the Soapie Party.
Joe Mullery seems pretty well entrenched. I'm not familiar with your district demographics, but
this seems a poor year for incumbents and wonder about your strategy and approach?
Well entrenched is an understatement. Heb doe face a dfl challenger in the primary though. Ani-incumbency sentiment or not, we know this district and it's not swinging our way any time soon. Ou primary objective isn't winning but bringing our ideas to the table and shaking up the traditional orthodoxy and challenging premises etc. And, u can be sure we'll have fun doing it. One such idea I have is soon to follow. Clean your conscience VOTE SOAPSTER!!!!!!
