I suppose I was. He's running for Gov. and the liberty wing is supporting him (i.e., Grant, Myself, and the other guys still around from Grant's '08 run).
We're all delegates to the State Convention. Emmer is also a state Rep. at present.
I didn't mean you as much as the actual video and the candidate not saying much, I didn't think politicians ever spoke for that short a time frame ever!
That's because we didn't put together enough of a coalition to change the rules for the convention. Thus, it was more a ceremonious affair than anything else. Whereas we'd much prefer to have the candidates speak for about 2 minutes and take questions for 5, they instead spoke for about 5 minutes and there were no questions (which prompted me to yell out at one of the other candidates when he uttered "Free Markets" to which I responded "There's nothing Free-Market about mandating the use of renewable forms of energy!").
Anyways, we're putting together a coalition to pack the rules committee so that we can change the rules for the next convention (CD5) and obviously we'll be looking to do that for the State convention which is sure to be a much more contentious battle.
Beth's right about short on specifics but, heck, I'll take a guy who obviously loves this country ANY TIME after what we've got now, huh?! I like him...Good luck!
