I mean did I call it or did I call it? The FOX news punditry would have had us believe that Scott Brown's election was something other than what it was. By their admission it was some sort sort of modern day "shot heard round the world". Thereafter, they continued to criticize Obama for "not getting it". It presumably was to serve as some sort of wakeup call to Obama and the progressive wing of the Democratic party that the people wanted....well....truth be told the people don't much know what the hell they want. But to be certain, they largely know that at the very least it's not what Obama is selling. Obama doesn't need to "get it" so long as he continues to have the support of Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, and now the newest member of the cast Scott Brown who cast his first vote in favor of a disasterous "jobs" bill.
As I've said all along, those who play the lesser of two evils game will ultimately get burned in the end. The path leads to the same destination albeit a much more scenic route. But make no mistakes about it, it is still a lot like hell.

Luckily Voinovich (who also voted in favor of the jobs bill) is not running for re-election, and I am hopeful that his replacement could be more conservative minded.
It'd be nice if we could get a whole handful of traditional conservatives to fill these (soon to become) vacated spots.
