Politicians would sell their grandmother if it got them votes, it's not just moderates.
It is very expensive frisking old ladies at every airport, but apparently it worked..the new administration upped DHS spending from $39 billion to $44 billion.

Too bad Lieberman is defending Obama. If you follow the link, you see that Lieberman's argument is based around Obama's Afghanistan strategy.
I am happy too about Obama's semi-aggressive strategy in Afghanistan, but that isn't enough to keep us safe. Everything else Obama is doing is horrendous and gives the jihadists cause for optimism.
